Paying attention to God's Word is more than just hearing it—it's about being open to divine instruction and guidance. We must recognize God as our source, not merely a resource to call upon when needed. Scripture should remain in our sight because it's more valuable than material wealth, offering promises and presence that money can't buy. Keeping God's Word in our hearts means continually returning to it for fresh insight, as Scripture is living and active, responding to our current circumstances. When we allow God's Word to be our primary influence, we experience transformation rather than just information.
