May 18th Worship Service

May 18, 2025    Logan Thornton

Life unfolds in seasons, each bringing unique challenges, joys, and purposes as described in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. Solomon's wisdom reminds us that every season—whether birth or death, planting or harvesting, crying or laughing—is temporary and part of God's design. Even difficult seasons serve a purpose in God's plan, as Romans 8:28 assures us that He works everything together for good for those who love Him.Sometimes we drift from our faith, gradually living as if God doesn't matter while being influenced by worldly values. This path ultimately leaves us feeling empty and lost. Yet God never abandons us during these seasons—He waits patiently for our return. When we recognize our need for Him, we can find our way back through studying Scripture, honest prayer, and confession. Our true worth comes not from others' opinions but from what God says about us.To navigate life's changing seasons faithfully, we must stay rooted in God's Word as our compass, remain connected to godly people who support our spiritual growth, maintain honest communication with God through prayer in both good and difficult times, and trust His timing even when we don't understand His plan. By embracing our current season rather than fighting against it, we can discover God's purpose and experience His faithfulness through every chapter of life.
