March 22nd Worship Service

The Parable of the Sower reveals three types of Christians we all experience at different seasons in our faith journey. The no-root Christian loses joy over time, needing to return to God as the owner of salvation to restore that joy. The distracted Christian gets slowly choked by worries, riches, and pleasures that compete for God's place in their life. The mature Christian cultivates their relationship with God while guarding against spiritual opposition. We must honestly evaluate what kind of soil we represent right now and take active steps to cultivate our spiritual growth while protecting our hearts from the things that would choke out God's harvest in our lives.
